Triton Digital®, the global technology and services provider to the digital audio, podcast, and broadcast radio industries, announced it completed its first agentic selling media buy through its newly launched Seller Agent. The transaction was executed with media partner Talpa Media, and Draft Digital serving as the agency on behalf of brand Otrium.

As an audio-industry first, the entire process, from request and negotiation through to booking in the ad server, was carried out through communication between AI agents, with no manual intervention required to move the deal from brief to booking. This transaction took significantly less time – minutes vs. days – while enabling participating publishers to offer the best inventory to meet campaign requirements without the need for manual or labor-intensive inventory management.

It marks the first use of Triton Digital’s Seller Agent, a new agentic capability built on the Triton Ad Platform (TAP) that allows publishers and buyers to receive, evaluate, and fulfill campaign requests from AI buying agents without manual back-and-forth. The transaction builds on Triton’s role as a founding member of AgenticAdvertising.org, the steward organization behind the Advertising Context Protocol (AdCP), in developing a common language for buyers and sellers to transact via AI agents.

“Audio doesn’t have a performance problem; it has an allocation problem. Budgets follow the path of least resistance and execution cost, rather than focusing on effectiveness. Now agents can interact to identify the right inventory, align on terms and book the deal in minutes instead of days, without the publisher giving up control of pricing or relationships,” said Benjamin Masse, Chief Product Officer at Triton Digital. “We’re not removing the publisher from the decision; we’re removing the friction around it. When publishers can say yes to more demand and improve product fit for advertisers, that’s real revenue lift and stronger retention.”

Execution at Scale, Built-In Governance

An AI agent working on behalf of Otrium, with Draft Digital serving as agency, identified audio products available via Triton that matched the campaign briefing and objectives. The two systems then aligned on availability and terms, after which the campaign was automatically booked in the ad server, compressing a process that traditionally requires days of manual coordination between media owner, agency, and advertiser into a single automated exchange. The campaign is now live within Talpa Media’s digital audio offering through Sync, Talpa Media’s AI-driven infrastructure for agentic advertising and shared intelligence.

The Seller Agent is built so that AI executes the transaction while humans stay accountable. Before the agent could act, Triton’s and the agencies’ teams set the terms, pricing guardrails, and data, privacy, and campaign-validation standards. Every booking is checked against those standards before a campaign goes live. Agent-to-agent execution doesn’t remove that accountability; it moves the review earlier, into how the system is designed, rather than into a manual step in each individual deal.

“This transaction is about more than automating a single campaign. As AI becomes an increasingly important part of media planning and buying, we’re building Sync to ensure trusted Dutch media remains visible and accessible within the next generation of buying systems. By connecting directly to the ecosystems used by media agencies through open standards like AdCP, we enable AI to make better-informed media decisions based not only on scale, but also on quality, context, and impact,” said Allard Korenhof, Director Digital Transformation, Talpa Media.

“This kind of agent-to-agent execution is exactly why we’re interested in agentic buying: it lets us move budget to the best-fit inventory in minutes rather than days, without losing any of the oversight we require around pricing, targeting and brand safety,” said Philip Sonneveldt, Head of Growth, Otrium. “Speed only matters to us if the guardrails hold, and this transaction showed both.”

“This is not just agentic buying. It is the full AI chain, closed end to end. Agents source and book at scale, Talpa Media’s account managers tailor what is offered, and the creatives change daily with AI. Our consultants buy with a precision that directly moves Otrium’s business,” said Lars Postmus, Founder, Draft Digital. “AI does not replace people here; it puts them in their strength. That is the new standard, and Otrium is leading the way.”
