Dragos Public Sector LLC (DPS), the federal business subsidiary of Dragos, Inc., today named a Board of Directors that includes Rob Joyce, former Director of Cybersecurity at the National Security Agency, and Lieutenant General (Ret.) Maria Barrett, former Commanding General of U.S. Army Cyber Command, as part of a series of milestones that strengthen its ability to protect the extended operational technology (xOT) environment that public sector civilian and defense missions depend on.

DPS also confirmed Daniel Dorchinsky, who has led the subsidiary’s growth for more than three years, as General Manager. Following Dragos’s acquisitions of NetRise and runZero, DPS now offers federal agencies exposure management, software supply chain security, and device remediation to defend the full xOT environment, which spans connected devices, networks, cloud, software supply chain, and the operational core. DPS also named Accenture Federal Services as a strategic go-to-market partner.

“Federal xOT environments cannot be secured by tools adapted from IT, and their needs can’t be met by a vendor that treats government as an afterthought,” said Daniel Dorchinsky, General Manager of Dragos Public Sector. “DPS exists so that agencies have a partner whose entire focus is the systems that keep bases running, water flowing, and facilities operating. Today’s announcements give us an even stronger technology platform, a governance structure built for the requirements of federal work, and a go-to-market partner with decades of trusted relationships across government.”

Board of Directors and Government Security Committee

DPS announced the following slate of directors:

  • Lieutenant General (Ret.) Maria Barrett, former Commanding General, U.S. Army Cyber Command, Outside Director
  • Tim Conway, SANS Fellow and Technical Director of ICS and SCADA Programs, SANS Institute, Outside Director
  • Rob Joyce, former Director of Cybersecurity, National Security Agency, Outside Director
  • Robert M. Lee, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dragos, Inc., Inside Director
  • Daniel Dorchinsky, General Manager of Dragos Public Sector, Officer Director
  • David Fitch, Americas Cybersecurity Lead, Accenture, Inside Director

“Protecting extended operational technology is a national security mission, and the governance of the companies doing that work is critical,” said Robert M. Lee, Chairman and CEO of Dragos, Inc. “The Dragos Public Sector Board brings together leaders who have run cyber operations for the Army and NSA, shaped how the ICS community defends itself, and delivered at scale for federal agencies. Their oversight ensures that DPS meets the government’s security expectations while giving our federal customers the full strength of the Dragos Platform.”

The federal xOT capability set

Dragos Public Sector’s expanded xOT capability set, built through the acquisitions of Phosphorus, NetRise, and runZero, now spans discovery, assessment, and remediation across the xOT environment.

  • Exposure management extends the asset identification and classification Dragos Platform is known for beyond sensor-covered OT networks into IT, cloud, and remote infrastructure. It ingests data from the sources an organization already has, producing a unified exposure view from day one without deploying a sensor.
  • The Dragos Software and Supply Chain Module extends visibility, security, and manageability down to the code level, through binary-level analysis of compiled firmware and software.
  • Automated discovery and remediation for connected devices includes executing credential rotation, firmware updates, and configuration hardening safely at scale.

The additions coincide with two federal deadlines: agency Logging Plans under OMB Memorandum M-26-14 are due to OMB and CISA on November 18, 2026, and CISA Binding Operational Directive 26-04 reaches full operationalization, including continuous exposure tagging and tiered remediation, on December 7, 2026. Both bring OT and IoT assets into scope for agency information systems, and both start from the same requirement: an agency cannot assess or remediate an asset it cannot first confirm exists. The expanded Dragos Platform now delivers that complete, exposure-tagged asset and vulnerability inventory, including firmware components no network scanner enumerates, and applies xOT-native network monitoring, threat detection, and “Now, Next, Never” vulnerability management grounded in the Dragos Intelligence Fabric, so agencies gain a single view of their xOT environment and what to fix first.

Where a finding falls in the “Now” tier and the asset can be safely changed, the Platform closes the findings rather than only reporting them. Where a controller cannot be patched inside a tier deadline, Dragos supplies OT-specific compensating controls and the documentation agencies need to show risk reduction to CISA and their Inspector General.

Accenture Federal Services as strategic go-to-market partner

Dragos Public Sector has named Accenture Federal Services as a strategic go-to-market partner. Accenture Federal brings more than a decade of OT cybersecurity delivery experience and long-standing relationships with federal civilian, federal law enforcement, defense, and intelligence community customers. Through the partnership, Accenture Federal will deliver DPS technology and services within its federal engagements, extending the reach of the Dragos Platform to more agencies. DPS will continue to work with its existing channel, integrator, and reseller partners.

“Federal agencies are being asked to secure operational technology at a faster pace and bigger scale,” said Amanda Satterwhite, Cyber Lead, Accenture Federal Services. “Pairing Accenture Federal Services’ scaled delivery capacity and mission understanding with the Dragos Platform gives agencies a path to compliance and, more importantly, to more quickly defended operations.”

DPS also works through Carahsoft, its Public Sector distributor since 2024, and other reseller and integrator partners that bring the Dragos Platform to federal agencies.
